The Interdisciplinary Resource Center for Nanotechnology was established in 2008 as the St.Petersburg State University  unique scientific equipment user's center. Here the University researchers post docs and students can work on their projects  being advised by the IRC qualified personnel.

IRC staff members provide the functionality of the installed equipment and leads the projects initialized by the registered IRC Users who are the authorized representatives of the University departments. The IRC is financiered from the centralized funds of the St.Petersburg State University so no extra fee is charged from our Users.

Senior researchers of the IRC also lead the students classes and provide the postdoctoral assistance in their projects. Classes and the assistance are lead on hourly-paied conditions.
